History repeats itself! That could be the opening line for the story of Podere dell'Anselmo, in honor of Fabrizio, who passionately carries on the art of winemaking. The Forconi family has indeed had an ancient calling for viticulture, dating back perhaps to the early 1800s, when they worked as sharecroppers for the Antinori family. Fabrizio is not only proud to carry on the tradition, but one might even say that his passion is so strong it dictates his personal rhythms: whenever he can talk about his wines, offer tastings, or describe his "chemical-free" growing methods aimed at preserving microbiological complexity, or explain how he fights pests using "sexual confusion" techniques, he spares no effort. On the contrary, he is always happy to welcome visitors and share the values they will find in the glass.
