There is a lot of talk about Italian breweries or microbreweries, an ever-growing trend involving young entrepreneurs and successful brands. Not all of them, however, can boast the quality offered by Birrificio Valdarno Superiore. There are two founding partners of this brewery, established in 2013 and located in Località Malafrasca, in the Valdarno area. Young, cheerful and determined, their beer holds a secret: water. Indeed, BVS is one of the few Italian breweries that draws directly from the purest water aquifers beneath the brewery, springs known first to the Etruscans and later to the Romans. None of their products contain artificial flavourings or preservatives, resulting in a beer that combines innovation and tradition. It's hard to recommend just one beer in particular, and it's even harder to resist trying them all.
