"Marea" White Wine Igt Toscana 2022 with no added sulphites 75 cl

Podere dell’Anselmo lies amid the splendour of the Chianti lands, a territory long renowned for wines of character. Here wine is made with great passion and with traditional methods that deeply respect the soil and nature, and it is here that Marea Bianco Igt Toscana Organic is produced. The Forconi family has a long history: they were already working the vineyards of Montespertoli in the early 19th century. Fabrizio carries on the family winegrowing tradition, mainly cultivating native grape varieties grown with meticulous farming practices. At just the right degree of ripeness, the grapes are harvested by hand and also hand-selected. It is a white wine made from Malvasia lunga grapes grown on the Tuscan hills 7 km from Montespertoli and 10 km from San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the vineyards right next to the estate, on east-facing mid-hill slopes with silty-clay soils, sands and gravel conglomerates.

Nose: Intense, with rich aromatic notes, citrus and ripe fruit such as pineapple and apple. Palate: Smooth and seductive yet with a well-integrated acidity, a persistent finish with good correspondence to the nose. PAIRINGS: Excellent throughout the meal.
