At Al Corno, you can enjoy the past, of which a precious memory is preserved, thanks to a restoration of the Estate that lives "the natural way," with the Farm's layout still authentic. Martino Bessi, the company's commercial soul, welcomes us and literally brings us into the world, a world that, now as then, is made up of people who not only work but live the company and within the company; the sense of belonging is extremely strong. Crossing the threshold of the farmhouse, entering the hallway, the walls proudly display certificates from the Fascist era, when it was olive oil, not wine, that had to be cultivated according to the dictates of the time. After the fall of Fascism, wine gained more and more "ground" and importance, until today, more than ever, it expresses its character and its peculiarities. The soils on which these ancient vineyards stand - because that is what they are, ancient vineyards with low yield but great expression - are made of clay and stone, left behind by the sea as it receded millions of years ago; visiting the estate's cellars, it is even possible to see the subsoil where the vines grow. The production ranges from white wines to IGT reds to the pure Colorino, the true pride of the company, produced in Italy by only two wineries.
