Giuggiole jam is produced by a tiny natural reality, that of Le Bontà , where jams, preserves and other preparations are made in the kitchen every day using simple, genuine ingredients, without adding thickeners, colourings or flavourings. Their delights carry the scent of the woods and of the company's orchard, and that's how giuggiole jam came to be, a jam with a truly unique taste. The jujube tree is grown for its delicious fruits, producing small fruits called giuggiole (jujubes), which have a reddish-brown skin and a pulp with a slightly tangy flavour reminiscent of apple. Jujubes have been known since ancient times and were already used by the Romans, who were the first to introduce them to Italy. The Giuggiole Jam produced here truly lives up to the Italian expression "Brodo di Giuggiole" (a state of sheer bliss), thanks to its original recipe made with heirloom apples and grapes, a real delight. Thanks to the passionate work the company puts in, both inside and outside the kitchen, we can rediscover ancient and forgotten fruits, such as the jujube, a small fruit with many beneficial properties: it is rich in vitamins, especially A and C, iron and calcium. Their products are also gluten-free.
