The family's history goes back at least two centuries, and to this day the village has a street named after them. Bluefin tuna fishing is a true passion and demands great precision, and it takes place in just thirty days a year. Bluefin tuna is a protected marine species whose catch is regulated by ICCAT quotas, which limit catches by number and weight. Thanks to this, the Mediterranean is being repopulated with this species.
Fishing, preservation and processing all take place within a circular supply chain owned by the company. This guarantees a high standard of quality. Every jar of preserves bears the BCD number (bluefin tuna Catch Document), a sort of "identity card" for the bluefin tuna that guarantees its traceability from sea to table.
