Az. Agr. Petrilli

the Petrilli family has very ancient origins and a long history. Already since 1300 lords of Trevico, known as the Roof of Irpinia, the highest town in the Baronia area. Since that time, owners of cultivated lands and of the Castle, but also devoted to pharmaceutical activity, preparing galenical remedies in the ancient family Palazzo. Over the years the agricultural activity had not been developed until 1997, when Ciriaco, together with his wife Marianna, from a family of oil millers, took the olive oil project to heart and planted as many as 16 hectares of olive groves, determined to promote a variety typical of the area: the ravece, and the cultivation of organic olive trees. But the project did not stop at cultivation: they built an oil mill and a beautiful facility for hospitality. At this point the supply chain is complete: cultivation, production and milling! Controlled quality, a perfect equation. The soul of the company reflects the spirit of both owners: on one hand Marianna, a pharmacist and naturopath, in search of the authenticity of the flavors of the territory, of what is natural and healthy, and on the other Ciriaco: producing in harmony with nature and with the natural environment. From this come the values that they carry forward every day: care for the land, respect for nature and its rhythms, and the genuineness of the products.
