Az. Agr. Due Palmenti
Az. Agr. Due Palmenti is located at 610 m above sea level, in the heart of eastern Sicily, on the slopes of Etna, amid green hills cradled by mild winters and warm, sun-drenched summers. The soil benefits from elements layered over remote eras through lava flows. Here, the young agronomist Martino has chosen to dedicate himself to growing aromatic herbs. The soil is particularly rich and well-suited to the cultivation of herbs that, thanks to the proximity to Etna, are able to develop organoleptic characteristics of exceptional quality and aromatic intensity. Martino farms following good agricultural practices, favoring the typicality of the local area. Here, given the terraced land, cultivation and harvesting are done by hand and the herbs are naturally dried. The selection is rich in essences ranging from oregano to marjoram, thyme, sage, rosemary, mint, chili pepper, bay leaf, and savory. From skillfully blended and measured herbs was also born the range of seasonings designed to enhance recipes. Not only local specialties like salamarigghiu and zogghiu, but also the perfect seasoning for spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino. A true delight are our dried fruit specialties made in Sicily, crafted with top-quality ingredients.
