Az. Agr. Buzzarone
Az. Agr. Buzzarone is more than a winery, it is value, culture and love for its own territory. Riccardo, heir to the passion for the winemaker's art passed down to him by his grandfather, since 2015 has courageously taken the family lands back in hand and, step by step, with dedication, brought the vineyards back to life. In 2019 the Buzzarrone winery was born, and the dream came true! We are on the hills of Castelferrato, in the hamlet of Torrevecchia Teatina, a town in the province of Chieti. Here you can enjoy a particularly fortunate exposure: the vineyards stretch out like a balcony between the Adriatic Sea and Mount Majella. A natural habitat that benefits from the sun and the waters of the lake. The grapes fully benefit from this, forming an exceptional raw material for a wine of excellent quality. Through the wines we produce, the entire identity of the territory can be found. To cultivate our lands we follow organic farming philosophy. We respect the natural rhythm without forcing anything. We keep our fields covered with grass, thus also preventing soil erosion. Sustainability is important to us, and we use only naturally derived products. We favor quality over quantity. In the cellar, too, the philosophy is the same: we pursue non-invasive practices. Vinification is carried out using traditional artisanal production methods, aided by modern winemaking knowledge. The wine is then aged solely through the practice of batonnage. A practice that will enrich its complexity, extend its longevity, and highlight its natural organoleptic characteristics. We carry on the family tradition that has always embraced the winemaker's art. Our wines, native to Abruzzo, are vinified as single varietals. They are worked only in steel, for the fullest expression of variety and territory.
