Chianti made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, complex and harmonious, in which light, elegant tertiary aromas blend perfectly with floral notes. A mineral, evolved and rounded wine. A long-lived wine that can easily age in the bottle for about ten years.
Description
Grape blend: Sangiovese 100% Vineyard: south exposure, altitude 290m. Training system: spurred cordon. Planting density: 4,800 vines per hectare. Harvest: after 10 October. Fermentation temperature: 28°/30° C Available vintage: 2020 Vinification: fermentation and maceration in steel and malolactic fermentation in cement. Ageing: in oak casks for 12 months and in bottle for 6 months Production: 10,000 bottles. ORGANOLEPTIC NOTES: Colour: intense purple-red with slightly garnet reflections. Nose: spicy, with notes of pepper and iris. Palate: elegant in structure, with a good balance between tannins, acidity and minerals. Soft and intense. Pairings: rich sauces and red meats Serving temp.: 18° C
