The Azienda La Rachilana is located in the municipality of Monforte dâAlba, in the province of Cuneo, an area highly suited to and historically important for wine production. Here, for generations, the Marengo family has carried on the work in the vineyard with dedication, commitment and respect for the land, and this is where Langhe Nebbiolo Vesprum D.O.C. is produced. We are now in the third generation of a family story that began in 1964 when, after years of hard sharecropping work, grandfather Bartolomeo decided to open his own business. The values, however, remain the same: to produce a good, genuine quality wine. From generation to generation, everyone takes part in the work at the winery with passion and attachment to their own territory. Here, careful selection of the best grapes is carried out to produce wines faithful to the importance of quality over quantity. The winery takes part in the âThe Green Experienceâ project, where respect for the environment is fundamental and herbicides and insecticides have been eliminated.
