Bussia - Langhe D.O.C. Chardonnay

Ours is a small operation where nothing is left to chance. Here we produce our wines using only our own grapes. The vineyards are located between Monforte d'Alba, Novello, La Morra and Barbaresco. Areas particularly suited to the great wines of the Langhe. We take care of the entire process: from production, to ageing, to sale. We follow the whole process to guarantee the best quality. Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay Harvest: manual, in crates Vinification: pressing without destemming. The must is transferred to a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank where it undergoes decanting overnight; the clarified must is then transferred to a steel tank with no temperature control, and alcoholic fermentation lasts a few days. Decanting for 24 hours in a temperature-controlled stainless steel tank. Racking and alcoholic fermentation for about 1 week. Ageing: about 12 months in French oak tonneaux, first and fourth passage, and in steel. Production: from about 800 to 1,200 bottles per year.
