The Ferrin Farm is located in the charming village of Camino al Tagliamento, on the left bank of the Tagliamento, the largest river in Friuli, and it is here that Pinot Grigio is produced
The Winery
Wine is a family story, and for three generations now the Ferrin family has been producing wine here, in Friuli di Mezzo. We are right in the heart of the Friuli Denominazione di Origine Controllata area, which has always been devoted to vine growing. On our 12 hectares of vineyards, we have always used eco-friendly methods with the goal of producing genuine grapes while respecting our natural environment. We grow Tocai Friulano, Verduzzo Friulano, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, Refosco dal peduncolo rosso, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Nero and Glera grapes. The values we carry forward are tradition, eco-sustainability and respect for the environment, and love for our land. We produce wines that reflect the spirit that drives us, carrying on the best Friulian winemaking traditions.
Pinot Grigio
This is a white wine with a straw yellow colour and a full, soft flavour with good body. Fresh and fruity.
It is a wine for aperitifs, starters, soups, and egg- and fish-based dishes.
