The Azienda Agricola MorelloAustera is a company that works with traditional products from the Marche region, crafting with great passion fruit grown on wild trees and forgotten varieties, bringing back to life unique flavors of ancient tradition. Everything is carried out with great respect for nature and its rhythms, right through to hand-harvesting and the careful preparation of the products. The orchards, and in particular the revival of the traditional AMARENA DI CANTIANO, a product of excellence since the early 1900s. The processing follows an ancient recipe handed down from generation to generation, respecting natural timing, cultivating with natural methods without fertilizers, hand-harvesting the fruit and processing it always in harmony with nature, to bring to our tables the genuine and authentic flavor of the products. Here then are the Visciole cherries, blackberries, figs, apples, mirabelle plums, white cherries, Angelica pears, peaches, raspberries, rosehips and other fruits, present in the company orchard since ancient times, where significant temperature swings between day and night give the fruits remarkable organoleptic properties and intense flavors. The jams are 100% natural and, like the Amarena, contain no preservatives, colorings or chemical thickeners; the only ingredients used are Fruit, Sugar, and Citrus Pectin. The Amarena di Cantiano pairs wonderfully with ricotta, cream-based ice creams, yogurt, panna cotta, fruit salad and crepes. The Visciole Wine is made by adding Visciole cherries and sugar to Sangiovese grapes, typical of the Marche region, which are then subjected to long fermentation and maturation periods.
