In Castelnuovo dell’Abate, south-east of Montalcino, Mastrojanni interprets a unique terroir, shaped by the presence of the Orcia river and Monte Amiata. A story of passion. Deep ruby in colour, on the nose it opens with notes of plum and forest fruits enriched by hints of Mediterranean scrub, spices and tobacco. A powerful wine, at the same time complex and long-lasting. The Brunello Vigna Loreto 2019 comes from a vineyard capable of expressing all the strength and refinement of the Montalcino terroir. Schiena d’Asino 2019 expresses the strength and elegance of Montalcino Sangiovese. Intense and deep, it combines ripe fruit, spices and delicate balsamic notes with a refined structure, supported by freshness and elegant tannins.
