In Castelnuovo dell’Abate, south-east of Montalcino, Mastrojanni interprets a unique territory, shaped by the presence of the Orcia river and Monte Amiata. A story of passion and dedication. Brunello di Montalcino with an intense ruby colour and an aroma of intense notes of ripe, fleshy fruit enriched by hints of spice, undergrowth and balsamic nuances. Wine Brunello di Montalcino 2019 from 100% Sangiovese grapes (Brunello). An intense ruby colour, with an aroma of intense notes of ripe, fleshy fruit enriched by hints of spice, undergrowth and balsamic nuances. A wine that is at once honest and powerful, complex, with a long and pleasant finish. A cold, dry winter slowly gave way to a cool spring generous with rain, gently accompanying the vine's slow awakening. After a rainy end to the previous year, 2020 brought a dry start and a regular growing season. A hot, sunny summer, with significant temperature swings in August, favoured a slow and balanced ripening, giving the grapes intensity, freshness and character.
