Vecchio Frantoio Agritourism Farm's preserves are made with seasonal fruit or vegetables, carefully selected and picked at just the right degree of ripeness.
To ensure maximum quality, the fruit or vegetables are processed immediately after picking, cooking takes about 3 hours on a low flame, and meanwhile the jars are sterilised and washed inside with cooked wine.
Once the desired consistency is reached, the preserve is jarred and the jars are placed in the oven for 10 minutes for pasteurisation.
