Biosolidale for our project we embraced Organic as a choice and we support the small businesses of our local area, and this is how the Quinoa Flour 250 g was born
In our project we embraced Organic as a choice and as a philosophy: we respect the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting the small businesses of our local area. This is why we have created a network of small businesses operating with the same organic philosophy as ours, so as to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. We raise consumer awareness about conscious purchasing and the importance of the short supply chain and organic products. For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we only use organic products, plenty of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. The products in oil and creams are made with the best local fresh vegetables, to which we add top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to obtain a product of unique excellence. The Quinoa flour is made according to the principles of organic farming and the production process is artisanal.
The organic company MOLINO AGOSTINI is located in the Marche region. Here production is a true vocation. A stone mill with three natural stone grinding wheels. For three generations now. We started growing organic in the 1970s. Today we can proudly say we are 100% organic, and QM certified, Marche quality recognised by the Marche region; we are the only mill that can boast this certification. The organic flour is obtained by milling traditional cereals such as wheat or alternative ones such as barley, corn, etc. Grown using organic farming methods, but, in order to be sold as such, it must be certified. The cereal itself, to be considered organic, must also carry certifications from specific inspection bodies. These bodies verify the requirements of the farm that produced it. Every year checks are carried out to confirm the conditions required by the certification. The cereal intended for organic flour production is grown without the use of synthetic chemical substances (fungicides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers, pesticides and pest controllers) and cannot come from GMO seeds.
