In the Pistocchi workshop, extraordinary artisanal creations have been made for over 30 years, and this is how TortaPistocchi® Coffee came to be
Claudio and his sister Claudia from the Pistocchi workshop decided in 2003 to present their first version of the Cake at the Euro Chocolate event: it was a real success, and for a long time the Pistocchi Cake was just one, then curiosity and passion gave rise to excellent variants such as the Pistocchi Coffee Cake made with high-quality Arabica coffee.
From the first exhibition, the adventure continued with prestigious events such as the Salone del Gusto in Turin, and there are countless awards and international recognitions achieved, and the story continues⦠always with the same determination, passion and daily commitment.
The new flavour variants use top-quality chocolates, seeking out raw materials of equal standing. The Coffee Cake has earned numerous awards and recognitions; presented in October 2006 at the Salone del Gusto in Turin, it is made using Sidamo from Piantagioni del Caffè, a 100% Ethiopian Arabica coffee with great aromas, a sweet, lingering taste and characteristic notes of citrus and flowers.

It is indeed in Florence that the Pistocchi family's pastry art was born, with their chocolate cakes as true specialties, along with cremini and dragées. The little cakes with three chocolates and fruit. But as with all their cakes, they continue to be made entirely by hand. Over the years, the quality of the product has, if anything, grown even further. Because today the market offers 87 types of dark chocolate to choose from, suited to individual needs. The workshop's creations today are not only chocolate but also include a gluten-free line of biscuits.
