the wines of the Baglio Baiata Alagna winery convey the tradition and love for their own land. 50 hectares of land divided into various plots between Marsala, Mazara, Trapani and Salemi. Sicilian wines: Lannì is a smooth blend of Nero d'Avola, Syrah and Merlot grapes grown in the Marsala and Mazara del Vallo area. It is balanced, full-bodied, with intense aromas, and a tannic but not aggressive, persistent taste. Aged in barrels previously used for fortified wines, in order to achieve notes of tobacco and cherry. The grapes are harvested late to give the LANNIâ wine more intense tones and fragrances. The wine is not filtered so as to retain even more aromas. It pairs well with roasts and aged cheeses. Grape varieties: a blend of aged Nero dâAvola and international red grapes Growing area: Marsala and Mazara del Vallo Training system: Marsala-style bush training or spur cordon, dry farmed Colour: Intense ruby red Aroma: Intense, varietal and lightly barrique-aged Taste: Balanced, structured Sugar content: 10 g/l Alcohol content: 14° vol
