We are in the Langhe, in Fontanafredda di Serralunga d'Alba, where the company La Biòca with 8 hectares of vineyards produces the finest wines expressing the territory â this is where Secondine Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Riserva is born

Secondine Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Riserva

Ours is a small business where nothing is left to chance. Here we produce our wines using only our own grapes. The vineyards are located between Monforte d'AlbaNovelloLa Morra and Barbaresco. Areas particularly suited to the great wines of the Langhe. We take care of the entire process: from production, to ageing, to sale. We follow the whole process to guarantee the best quality. Technical sheet: Secondine Barbaresco D.O.C.G. Riserva Grape variety: Nebbiolo 100% Harvest: manual, in crates. Vinification: destemming and crushing followed by cold maceration for a few days. Vinification in a vertical French oak tonneau for about 6 days without temperature control. The cap was worked with regular punching down and manual pumping over. Post-fermentation maceration for about 14 days. Ageing: minimum 9 months in oak Production: about 700-900 bottles per year
