Rhoseas Rosato toscano I.G.T.

Rosé wine made according to the Provençal recipe: gentle pressing and short skin maceration, followed by racking. The result is a pleasant wine (especially in summer), vintage-dated, mineral and with great persistence, featuring fruity and floral notes, of rose above all, hence the name. The blend consists of 50% Syrah (the traditional grape variety used in Provence for rosés) and 50% Sangiovese to give it a Tuscan touch. A wine much loved by a young audience not very versed in the world of wine, but also appreciated by connoisseurs for its quality. Best served chilled. Grape blend: Sangiovese and Shiraz Vineyard: south/south-west facing, altitude 260 m above sea level Training system: spurred cordon Harvest period: by 20 September Vinification: racking immediately after crushing and white-style fermentation at controlled temperature in steel vats Ageing: steel Alcohol content: 13.5% vol Serve at 15°C Colour: wine with a beautiful intense rosé colour with slight violet hues. Nose: fine, intense, ethereal aroma with notes of flowers and red fruits, cherry. Palate: savoury and light on the palate with good freshness, very lively⦠it can't stay in the bottle!!
