Rosato di Allegra IGT â our winery has been producing wines in the heart of the Chianti Classico region for over 100 years, a family story built on passion and love for the land. This rosé is a tribute to my daughter Allegra. We produce it from selected Sangiovese grapes using the “salasso†(bleeding) technique. A portion of the liquid is drawn off from the best Sangiovese must as it begins to ferment, and placed in another tank to continue fermenting separately. The result is a fresh, easy-drinking wine. Serve it with appetisers! Organic wine Vintage 2022 750 ml bottle

Il Vallone di Cecione is located in the heart of the Chianti lands, a land of great wines and of reds all produced while respecting typicity and craftsmanship, and this is where Rosato di Allegra Igt is born. Rosato di Allegra Igt Il Vallone di Cecione is a small estate located near Panzano in Chianti, in the heart of Chianti Classico gallo nero. The farm extends over about 8 hectares, of which 4 are vineyard and 700 are olive trees. Always focused on quality, since 2010 production has been organic. Management has always been in the hands of the Anichini family; today it is Francesco who carries it forward with the help of his parents. The name comes from the area, Cecione, where the farm is located, while Vallone comes from a plot of land that slopes down from the house to the valley, an area particularly suited to excellent wine. This rosé is a dedication to my daughter Allegra. We produce it with selected Sangiovese grapes using the salasso (bleeding) technique. Part of the liquid from the best Sangiovese, which is beginning to ferment, is separated and placed in another vat to continue fermentation. The result is a fresh wine that is easy to drink. In the photo taken in our vineyards, a ladybird rests on a vine. Thanks to our extremely natural way of working, we can observe not only the growth of the vines but also more and more insects, bees and ladybirds around, making us happy with our choices. Production is essentially concentrated on 5 labels: Chianti Classico, a pure Canaiolo, a pure Malvasia Nera, a pure Sangiovese ("Campo dell'Orzo") and a Sangiovese rosé dedicated to Francesco's daughter (Allegra). On the label of each wine there are images referring to members of the Anichini family or to very special moments that mark historical milestones or family memories that remain indissoluble over time. My family has been producing wine for over a hundred years in full respect of the oldest Chianti tradition, cultivating the small fields around the old house located in the beautiful Cecione valley and in the Conca d'Oro of Panzano. A Tuscan story, a family story.
