Karina - Langhe D.O.C. Rosato

We are in the Langhe area at Fontanafredda di Serralunga d'Alba, here the company La Biòca with 8 hectares of vineyards produces the finest wines expressing the territory, and this is where it comes from. Ours is a small enterprise where nothing is left to chance. Here we produce our wines using only our own grapes. The vineyards are located between Monforte d'Alba, Novello, La Morra and Barbaresco. Areas particularly suited to the great wines of the Langhe. We take care of the entire process: from production, to ageing, to sale. We follow the whole process to guarantee the best quality. Technical sheet: Karina Grape variety: typical of the territory Harvest: manual, in crates. Winemaking: crushing and pressing without maceration of the grapes. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks at low temperatures for about 20 days. Ageing: on fine lees in a steel tank for 2 months Production: approximately 1,500 to 2,500 bottles per year.

Colour: rosé Nose: distinctive, subtle and delicate Taste: smooth, velvety and harmonious Serving temperature: 10-12°C Recommended pairings: appetisers, mixed salads, pasta and fish-based dishes. «Carina» (meaning âcuteâ) is indeed a compliment, but with a «K» it becomes a woman's name. Rosé is a wine much loved by women, for whom being told âyou're cuteâ is always a welcome compliment.
