The Tenuta Piano di Rustano is located in the high hills of the Macerata area, in a hilly setting. Here the cold climate of the Apennines is partially mitigated by the proximity of the Adriatic Sea, and this is where Torre del Parco - Verdicchio di Matelica D.O.C. is born.
Torre del Parco is a unique terroir for growing Verdicchio because its wide temperature swings and the particular structure of its soils give the wine elegance, freshness, body and savouriness. This is Verdicchio di Matelica, one of the oldest native Italian wines and the first D.O.C. of the Marche region, recognised in 1967. Well-structured, savoury and fragrant. The Verdicchio di Matelica vineyards are grown on calcareous soils, giving a wine of great finesse. With its characteristic greenish highlights, it is persistent on the palate. On the palate, round sensations with a pleasant almond aftertaste characterise it. Our wines are produced with respect for our land. We carefully monitor every stage of production and each bottle is traced with a QR code so you can discover the characteristics of each wine. A wine of great elegance, freshness and minerality, offering a flawless expression of the territory. Characterised by an almond aroma. Ideal paired with fish dishes and white meats, and with local specialities such as traditional cured meats from the Marche and medium-aged cheeses.
