Langhe Nascetta Oro D.O.C.

The Azienda La Rachilana is located in an area in the municipality of Monforte dâAlba, in the province of Cuneo, a highly esteemed and historically important area for wine production. Here, for generations, the Marengo family has carried on their vineyard work with dedication, commitment and respect for the land, and it is here that Langhe Nascetta Oro D.O.C. is produced. We are now at the third generation of a family story that began in 1964, when, after years of hard work as sharecroppers, grandfather Bartolomeo decided to open his own business. The values, however, have always remained the same: to produce a good, genuine quality wine. From generation to generation, everyone takes part in the work at the winery with passion and attachment to their own land. Here, a careful selection of the best grapes is made to produce wines that stay true to the importance of quality over quantity. The winery takes part in the âThe Green Experienceâ project, where respect for the environment is fundamental, and herbicides and insecticides have been eliminated.

Langhe Nascetta Oro D.O.C.

A white-berried grape variety native to the Alba area, whose first records date back to the early 1800s. Rediscovered in recent years, it is enjoying great success. It is indeed able to amaze even the most demanding palates. In the mouth, freshness floods the palate and lingers thanks to a savoury backbone that, together with dried fruit notes, creates a pleasant juicy and silky sensation.
