Truffle powder

The Az.Agr. La Spora, for generations has dedicated itself with passion to truffle hunting in the land of Abruzzo, on the border between Abruzzo and Molise, land of Apennine truffles: this is where the Truffle Powder is born. A specialty prepared with summer truffle: one of the easiest species to find, and the most abundant. It has a long harvesting period, and the summer truffle is widespread all over the world. It has an aroma reminiscent of porcini mushrooms, with notes of hazelnut and undergrowth. Its intensity increases with ripening. It has a delicate flavour, leaving a pleasant, non-overpowering aftertaste. This truffle prefers calcareous, well-drained soils and grows mainly in symbiosis with oaks, hazels, hornbeams and lime trees.
