In our project we embraced Organic as a choice and as a philosophy, we respect the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting small businesses in our region, we have created a network of small businesses operating with the same organic philosophy as ours, so as to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. Raising consumer awareness of conscious purchasing and the importance of the short supply chain and organic products. For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we only use organic products, plenty of fruit and a bit of organic cane sugar. The oil-preserved vegetables and spreads are made with the best local fresh vegetables to which we add top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to achieve a product of unique excellence. The Organic Ribo is made according to the principles of organic farming and the production process is artisanal. The LESCA organic farm is located in the Po Valley near Pavia. Here you can feel the air of times gone by, of traditional work that does not use fertilisers or other chemical substances. Natural processes are followed and good agricultural practices are adopted, going against the trend of quantity-focused production. The crops follow alternating sowing cycles to naturally restore the humus of the soil and thus have good land and good harvests. We follow organic farming. We maintain the fertility and biological activity of the soil through multi-year crop rotation, including legumes and other cover crops, and we fertilise with natural fertiliser of animal origin or with organic matter. The organic Ribe wholegrain rice is characterised by long grains and a crystalline, compact structure. Grown throughout the Po Valley. It retains the most nutritious parts of the grain, rich in fibre, vitamins, trace elements, fatty acids, carbohydrates, and mineral salts. It has a higher nutritional value than white rice. It has a bold flavour and after cooking retains its excellent texture for several days, ideal for cold and lukewarm salads. Pairings: Organic Ribe wholegrain rice for preparing tasty rice salads, or as a side dish or to accompany vegetable and legume soups. Cooking time: 60 minutes. Package: Vacuum-packed 1 kg.
