RI.BE Rice 1 kg Organic

In our project we embraced Organic farming as a choice and as a philosophy, respecting the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting the small businesses of our local area; we have created a network of small businesses operating with the same organic philosophy as ours, so as to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. Raising consumer awareness of conscious purchasing and of the importance of the short supply chain and organic products. For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we only use organic products, lots of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. The oil-preserved vegetables and spreads are made with the best local fresh vegetables to which we add extremely high-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to obtain a product of unique excellence. The Organic Ribo is made according to the principles of organic farming and the production process is artisanal. The organic farm LESCA is located in the Po Valley near Pavia. Here you can breathe an air of times gone by, of traditional work that does not use fertilizers or other chemical substances. Natural processes are followed and good agricultural practices are adopted, going against the current trend that focuses on quantitative production. The crops follow alternating sowing cycles to naturally restore the humus of the soil and thus have good soil and good harvests. We follow organic farming. We maintain soil fertility and biological activity through multi-year crop rotation, including legumes and other green manure crops, and we fertilize with natural fertilizer of animal origin or organic matter. Ribe organic rice is characterized by a tapered grain that is slightly smaller than other varieties. It holds up very well during cooking. RI.BE is a variety grown throughout the Po Valley, particularly in Lomellina and the Vercelli area. It is ideal for rice salads, risottos, sushi, one-course dishes and also for preparing some desserts. Pairings: Ribe organic rice is very versatile and lends itself to countless interpretations in the kitchen: from salads to soups, from croquettes to cakes, as a main course. Cooking time: 16-18 minutes. Package: Vacuum-packed, 1 kg.
