The extra jam from
Biosolidale is made exclusively with the finest fruit according to the principles of organic farming, and this is where the
Organic Blackberry Compote is born
Organic Blackberry Compote
according to the principles of
organic farming and with the
sole addition of cane sugar, also organic, without any thickener.
The entire production process is artisanal, from the harvesting of the fruit to the cutting of the peel.
In our project we have embraced
Organic as both a choice and a philosophy, respecting the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting the small businesses of our region; we have created a network of small businesses operating according to the same organic philosophy as ours, so as to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. We aim to raise consumer awareness about mindful purchasing and the importance of the
short supply chain and organic products.
For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we use only organic products,
plenty of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. The oil-preserved vegetables and spreads are made with the best
fresh local vegetables, to which we add top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to achieve a product of truly unique excellence.
We are located in Fanano (Mo), in the
Frignano Regional Park in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines at 780 m above sea level, surrounded by green meadows and chestnut woods. A genuine family-run farm. Here we organically grow and process wild berries (raspberries, blackberries, red and black currants, gooseberries). The blueberries come from wild harvesting within the Frignano Park. Our products are certified by ICEA (Institute for Ethical and Environmental Certification).
According to our philosophy, we not only follow organic farming, but all our activities reflect a lifestyle choice that includes recycling, energy saving, rainwater collection, and photovoltaic power. In fact, we are
certified environmental quality suppliers of the Frignano Park. We strive to make a
contribution to the environment, which we believe is the foundation for a truly high-quality product.
We favour the
cultivation of wild berries because this fruit naturally grows wild in our mountains. Our grandparents used to gather it not only to supplement their diet but also their modest income. Wild berries were already known in the past for their health properties. Today we talk about nutraceuticals (nutraceutical is a science that combines nutrition and pharmaceuticals, hence the name). Today this fruit is
appreciated both in homeopathic remedies as well as for a healthy diet.
Made with
fruit grown by the farm and sweetened with concentrated grape must.
Try it for a
healthy breakfast, on bread or rusks. Recommended
for those with sugar intolerances, diabetics, or low-calorie diets. Ideal with aged cheeses or ricotta.
