The preserves made by Azienda Agrituristica Vecchio Frantoio are made with seasonal fruit and vegetables, carefully selected and picked at the right degree of ripeness.
To ensure the highest quality, the fruit and vegetables are processed immediately after harvesting; cooking takes about 3 hours over a low flame, while in the meantime the jars are sterilised and washed on the inside with cooked wine.
Once the desired consistency is reached, the preserves are jarred and the jars are placed in the oven for 10 minutes for pasteurisation.
