Maltagliati a Rombo 500 g Artisan pasta made with carefully selected raw materials. Only eggs from free-range farms that guarantee animal welfare are used, while the semolina comes from southern Italy, where the wheat is a amber-yellow colour and has very high protein and nutritional values. The semolina is still processed as it was 100 years ago, only with more advanced technology; bronze dies are used, which bring out the pasta's final rough texture, also thanks to slow, low-temperature drying. The shaping machines, built and patented by Pastificio Ferrari itself, guarantee a unique and inimitable product in terms of thickness of the pasta sheet, colour, shape, ridging and above all flavour. This is a pasta designed to enhance the most authentic preparations of traditional Italian cuisine. Their characteristic diamond shape gives originality to the dish and lends itself perfectly to the preparation of flavourful broths, minestre and soups, transforming simple ingredients into recipes rich in taste and tradition.
Ideal served in a good meat broth or vegetable broth, these maltagliati fit perfectly into home cooking, evoking the genuine flavours of family lunches. Their versatility also makes them suitable for rustic dishes with pulses and vegetables, for hot, comforting meals to enjoy all year round, especially on the colder days.
