At the foot of Monviso, a mountain excellence, here the company âAgriGeunaâ grows Stevia using the organic method and offers it in leaves, this is where the Stevia Rebaudiana is born

Stevia Rebaudiana

The company specialises in processing the prized Gentile Trilobata hazelnut. Grown in the presence of the âKing of Stoneâ in a completely natural way. It also grows saffron and Stevia Rebaudiana. We grow it using the organic method in the foothill lands of Monviso and package it in our own facility. Stevia is a natural sweetener with a low glycaemic index obtained from the dried leaves of the "Stevia Rebaudiana" plant, native to Paraguay and also grown in other countries where the climate allows it. Its sweetening power is much higher than common sucrose, up to 300 times more, but it has no calories and a very low glycaemic index, making it essential for anyone following low-calorie diets or who cannot take common sweeteners, or simply for those who love sweets but want to look after their health. The dried leaves are used as they are, either finely ground or infused for a few hours, then the liquid is filtered and used as an ingredient for desserts and herbal teas. Rich in vitamins and mineral salts, it is an excellent alternative to common sugar. It is hand-harvested, then dried and packaged. It is used as a sweetener in infusions. It pairs very well with a glass of red wine, leaving a liquorice aftertaste. It is also excellent with goat's milk. For orders over 15kg, please contact us for a quote   Â
