In our project we have embraced Organic as both a choice and a philosophy, respecting the land and its fruits. Our philosophy also includes supporting small businesses in our region; we have created a network of small enterprises operating with the same organic philosophy as ours, so as to offer an alternative to the traditional supermarket. Raising consumer awareness of conscious purchasing and of the importance of a short supply chain and organic products. For all our products the philosophy is always the same: for jams and preserves we use only organic products, plenty of fruit and a little organic cane sugar. Our oil-preserved products and spreads are made with the best fresh local vegetables, to which we add top-quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lazio, to achieve a product of unique excellence. The Farro Bread is made according to the principles of organic farming and the production process is artisanal. We are located in the magnificent Gargano region. Here Sottolestelle was born, specializing in products without milk, without eggs and without yeast. Our goal is in fact to offer unique and innovative organic products to contribute to the wellbeing of our consumers. We are advocates of eating well and healthily for a proper diet and to stay in good health. Based on this principle, we produce with a focus on the healthy and natural. To do so, we use only organic raw materials, partly produced on our own farm. We are located in the open countryside of the Gargano, among olive trees, almond groves and vast grain fields. On our farm as well as in our workshops, we work exclusively with organic raw materials. The excellent quality of our products is achieved through the use of carefully selected raw materials and only through natural processing techniques that preserve the quality of the finished products. Oats are one of the cereals with the highest protein value (up to 17%), fewer carbohydrates, 11% fibre and the lowest glycaemic index. They are rich in potassium and B vitamins. Oats are an important source of beta-glucans, soluble fibres that help keep total cholesterol under control.
