the prized "Nocciola del Monviso" belongs to the Nocciola Gentile Trilobata variety, born at the foot of Monviso, with a very mild microclimate, they are characterised by their large size, crunchiness and flavour. The fruit of the hazel tree (Corylus Avellana) is a plant native to Asia Minor and typical of the Mediterranean. It grows wild in the woods and has been cultivated since ancient times. Italy is the second largest producer in the world, after Turkey. The main excellent varieties produced are the "Tonda Gentile delle Langhe and the "Tonda di Giffoni" from Campania. at the crossroads of plain and mountain, thus enjoying a very mild microclimate, which allows the formation of large, crunchy and tasty hazelnuts. All processing is carried out with the aim of "pampering" them, so as to favour the quality of the harvest. Our hazelnut, prepared in this way, is convenient and practical.
