Mugello tartufi represents the authentic encounter with the
precious truffle, truffles collected directly by the truffle hunter and immediately processed to preserve all their organoleptic characteristics; here the
Bianchetto Truffle Butter is produced
A family business
the company was born from the passion of Mauro Poli, an expert truffle hunter who, with his faithful dog Pedro, has always devoted himself out of passion to the collection and knowledge of truffles. The products are handcrafted with
seasonal truffles, a guarantee of quality. It is no coincidence that the company is located right in Mugello, a territory that represents one of the nine D.O.C. zones recognised by the Tuscany region for the harvesting of
Tuber Mugnatum Pico, that is, the delicious and famous
white truffle.
The Truffle Butter is made with slivers of
bianchetto truffle and is very creamy.
Perfect for any dish, add it to your recipes to enhance the flavour of your dishes!
Available in jars of several sizes: 75 g, 165 g and 460 g.
The Bianchetto Truffle prefers sandy, sandy-silty, and calcareous-clay soils, and grows mainly in broadleaf and coniferous woods, in symbiosis with the roots of pine, cedar, beech, downy oak, turkey oak and holm oak.
Main characteristics of the bianchetto truffle:
Appearance: rather small in size, mostly globular in shape. The outer colour is ochre-white, which can have darker shades tending towards red. Internally, the colour is quite light with whitish veining.
Aroma: initially delicate, gradually tending towards garlicky
Flavour: strong, spicy and very garlicky
