Faithful to their Friulian homeland and its products, once they had refined their expertise, they devoted themselves to the world of dairy products, and among the local specialities we find Frico Friulano. Frico Classico encapsulates the essence of Friuli, representing the culinary tradition of an entire region. It is made with a selection of fresh and aged cheeses, cut into cubes and mixed with potatoes. It is pre-cooked in the oven and offered vacuum-packed, to guarantee the longest possible shelf life. Simply heat it for a couple of minutes in the microwave or in a non-stick pan without adding any fat. Frico con le patate (Frico with potatoes) is a typical dish of Friulian cuisine with roots in the areas of Carnia. Traditionally it was made with cheese scraps, whereas today Friulian cheeses (both fresh and aged) are carefully selected and cut into cubes. Mixed with potatoes and pre-cooked in the oven.
