Pepper-coated smoked pecorino bagnolese, made using only fresh sheep's milk from the indigenous Malvizza breed of Campania. On the nose, notes of pepper with an intense, rich spiciness. On the palate, a lovely balance between the buttery sensation and the spice: soft, meltable and persistent, with a delicate final hint of light herbaceous notes. It won't disappoint those who love bold flavours and spices - best enjoyed on its own, on a nice cheese board with fresh unsalted bread. Available in various sizes.

The pepper-coated smoked pecorino bagnolese made by the company Milk Coop arrives straight to your table, giving those who love genuine flavours the chance to enjoy it. Made with milk from the Bagnolese sheep, an indigenous Campania breed found mainly in the areas surrounding Bagnoli Irpino and the Monti Picentini. Straw-yellow colour, slight eye formation, soft texture and delicate flavour are the main characteristics of the smoked pecorino bagnolese. The pepper-coated smoked pecorino bagnolese lends itself to numerous uses, from enjoying it fresh on a cheese board to using it in elaborate recipes. A company with ancient roots, passing down milk processing know-how from generation to generation. It was 1800 when it all began. Over 200 years have passed since then, and the Azienda Agricola Nigro has become the Cooperativa Milk Coop, joining forces with 8 members who daily supply the milk of the Bagnolese sheep for the production of pecorino cheese, and cow's milk from the pastures of Irpinia and Sannio for the production of other types of aged and fresh cheeses. Years have gone by, but the philosophy has always remained the same: "keep cheesemaking true to tradition, while always striving to improve age-old production techniques". The milk of the Cooperativa Milk Coop comes from indigenous Campania breeds, raised with the utmost respect for their nature. On the Cooperative's farms, the animals' natural rhythms and pace of life are respected, and they are left free to graze on the countless wild herbs of their pastures. This biodiversity gives the milk they provide truly unique organoleptic and sensory properties. For this reason, the smoked, aged and fresh cheeses produced by the Cooperativa Milk Coop are seasonal and zero-mile (Km 0).
