Deep roots tie the Testa family to fishing and to the small Sicilian fishing village of Ognina; the family's history dates back at least two centuries, and even today the town has a street named after them. The bluefin tuna fishing represents a true passion and precision, carried out in just thirty days a year, and it is here that the Taratatà Anchovy Sauce 180 g is produced. The fishing practised by the family for generations is, above all, fishing that respects the sea, a sea to be loved. Not only the sea but also its fruits, using good low environmental impact fishing practices and respect for quotas. The family motor vessel Futura Prima is dedicated to blue fish, fishing in the Ionian Sea and off the Aeolian Islands, and anchovies from June to September off Capo Passero. Eco-sustainable fishing and catches processed immediately to guarantee freshness and excellent quality.
