Criollo Canoabo 70% Chocolate
The chocolate made with Criollo Canoabo gives the palate pleasant sweet notes of milk cream, dates and almonds: extraordinary roundness and great persistence. Increasingly sought after by chocolate connoisseurs and enthusiasts all over the world. Canoabo is a variety of Venezuelan criollo cocoa, from the Yaracuy and Carabobo regions. We rescued this rare cocoa variety, which was at risk of extinction, by growing it right in Venezuela. From our plantation we receive the raw material that we process every day using the shortest and purest recipe in the world.
Criollo
Criollo is the most prized variety of cocoa, already used by the Maya and the Aztecs. It nearly disappeared because its cultivation was gradually abandoned due to its low yield. It is a rare and fragile cocoa and represents only 0.001% of the cocoa produced worldwide.
The quality of this cocoa is unmatched: being free of tannins (which give the product acidity and astringency), Criollo boasts a creaminess, a roundness and a sweetness unique in the world.
Domori rescued this precious cocoa variety, which was at risk of extinction, creating the largest plantation in the world right in Venezuela, from which it receives the raw material that it processes every day for the joy of chocolate lovers.
The Canoabo bar, made with 70% cocoa paste and 30% cane sugar, is perfect for those who love sweetness but don't want to overdo it with sugar.
The sweet notes of milk cream, great sweetness and roundness, will win you over from the first bite!
