Tortuga (Amber APA) Craft beer in the American Pale Ale style, characterised by the predominance of hops in both aroma and taste. Its caramel flavour and amber colour come from the special crystal malt used to brew it. With a not-too-bitter bouquet, it's very easy to drink. It's perfect with a nice hamburger, especially given its citrusy notes, paired with a lime-flavoured mayonnaise. Also perfect with spiced Indian dishes featuring coriander or curry. 33 cl bottle and 75 cl bottle

La Foresta is a microbrewery in Prato, brought to life by Giulio, master brewer and eclectic soul of the brewery, and this is where Tortuga (Amber APA) is born
We want to create distinctive products within our country, respectful of the environment and of what nature has given us. The brewery is located in Prato between San Martino and Coiano. Giulio has always had a passion for beer. He cultivated it since he was a boy, starting at home with DIY kits. But the dream was always there: one day I want to have my own microbrewery where I can produce quality beers and experiment! TORTUGA is our American Pale Ale. Amber-coloured, with an unmistakable taste and aroma, it is a reinterpreted version of the style itself. The caramel taste and amber colour come from the special crystal malt used to brew it, and the head is fine-grained and long-lasting. The main aroma definitely comes from the hops, added in late boiling, rich in notes of exotic fruit and citrus, while the malt scent takes a back seat. Try it to make a special Negroni! An extra idea? Pair it with roast chicken stuffed with a garlic and sage mince, adding some lemon zest! APAs are known for their hoppy and citrusy notes. Loved by those who enjoy more aromatic and bitter beers. The citrus notes blend with the floral aromas of the hops. The result is a tasting experience full of vibrant flavours. A beer that perfectly balances hop bitterness with a subtle malty sweetness. Pairings: chicken and pork dishes, spicy foods, burgers and fruit desserts. Perfect with a great burger!
