We are in the province of Arezzo, home to Birrificio Valdarno Superiore “BVS”, an artisanal brewery that produces top-fermented beers inspired by its own territory. Production uses the finest selected raw materials, and it is here that Birra Valdarno Pale Ale Toscana is made. Besides the love for their homeland, Tuscany, crafting artisanal beers also requires a passion for beer. Beer with no compromises and no added flavourings or preservatives. The company has a small secret for making its products: water. It has a private well that draws directly from the purest water aquifers beneath the brewery, fed by local springs. Here the water drawn is particularly hard, rich in minerals. This characteristic helps the yeasts during fermentation, a key element in producing quality craft beer.
It is a tribute to its land of origin, being the first beer made by the brewery with Tuscan organic malt, and at the same time the result of tradition combined with innovation, not pasteurised, not filtered. As tradition dictates for Pale Ales, hops were used "generously". Alcohol content: 5% Vol. With organic barley malt grown in Tuscany. Fermentation type: top fermentation, bottle-refermented. Colour: SRM 4. Bitterness index: IBU 35. Type: Pale Ale
