Maso Salengo is a small family-run business, a family story dating back to ancient times; already in the early 1900s the Raffaelli family was producing wine, and this is where the Trentino D.O.C. Cabernet was born. Trentino D.O.C. Cabernet acquired the name Maso Salengo and its current brand in the 1980s. Always attentive to quality raw materials and respectful of their land, the winery cultivates about ten varieties, carefully chosen among those best suited to their soils, varieties able to best express the distinctive characteristics of each grape. Their love for the land and its fruits leads to special attention to the vineyard and to the harvest, in order to obtain raw materials worthy of the subsequent transformation into quality wines. Here every aspect of the vineyard and the transformation of the grapes is cared for to obtain wines of great value; the vocation for red wines is strong, and here the Trentino D.O.C. Cabernet is produced, a generous wine obtained from the vinification of two different grape varieties, a wine with a distinctive personality.
