In the heart of the Monferrato, land of enchanted hills, Monferrato Truffle was born. Here, unspoiled nature and a unique climate give life to one of the most precious treasures of Italian gastronomy: the Tartufo Bianco del Monferrato, and this is also where the wines of the area are born, the Barbera d'Asti DOCG Red Wine 750 ml Barbera d'Asti DOCG Red Wine 750 ml
Barbera d'Asti is much more than a wine: it is a true symbol of Piedmontese wine culture, a sincere expression of a generous land and a centuries-old tradition. Born among the hills of the Asti area, where vineyards alternate with ancient villages and castles, this red wine embodies the perfect balance of elegance, freshness and intensity.
To the eye it appears with a bright ruby red colour, sometimes with violet hues, revealing its liveliness and youth. The aromatic bouquet is broad and engaging: fruity notes of ripe cherry, black cherry and plum dominate, accompanied by floral nuances of violet and light spicy hints â black pepper, cinnamon and a delicate note of vanilla if aged in wood.
On the palate, Barbera d'Asti stands out for its natural, lively freshness, due to its typical acidity, which gives the wine extraordinary drinkability and great versatility at the table. The structure is medium, but always harmonious: the tannins are soft and silky, the body is full but not heavy, with a pleasant roundness that perfectly balances the acidic component. The finish is long, savoury and fruity, with a persistence that invites another sip.
Barbera d'Asti is the red wine that never tires the palate: genuine, authentic, yet capable of surprising, even in its more refined or complex versions. A wine that tells a story of passion, territory and dedication, in every glass.
