The Az.Agr. La Spora has for generations been passionately devoted to truffle hunting in the land of Abruzzo, on the border between Abruzzo and Molise, the land of Apennine truffles: this is where our dried porcini mushrooms come from. Porcini mushrooms: one of the most loved mushrooms in recipes. We thought of those who have little time to devote to cooking but do not want to give up the pleasure of always having mushrooms available for their recipes. Dried porcini mushrooms A natural product that is dried at a controlled temperature. Their preservation method is simply their dehydration. For optimal use, soak the dried mushrooms in a bowl of lukewarm water. Leave them to soak for about half an hour. This is the time needed for the mushrooms to absorb water and double in volume. They are then rehydrated and ready to use. How to use them in the kitchen: porcini mushrooms lend themselves to countless interpretations and recipes. You can use them to prepare sauces for first courses. For meat main courses, for vegetables and potatoes. Naturally they are perfect for an excellent risotto.   The whole family grows and hand-picks fresh truffles: we work in the woods around the Sangro river, between Abruzzo and Molise, an area that has always been devoted to this precious tuber.
