the Az. Agr. Radici is located on the slopes of the
Pratomagno , in one of the most beautiful areas of
Tuscany , the farm spreads across plots of land ranging between 300 and 1300 metres in altitude, an ideal physical setting for creating a wide range of products, and this is how
Accecalocchi - BIO Spicy Chilli Pepper Pâté came about
Accecalocchi - BIO Spicy Chilli Pepper Pâté
on the plateau of
Loro Ciuffenna near the vines and olive trees, we grow various
Mediterranean species at 300 metres above sea level, while in the mountains we gather wild berries and chestnuts and a good part of the fruit we use for our jams. 60 species grown each year that we process in our workshop.
Over the years we have gained great
experience in the field of organic farming and in the processing of agricultural products. But our focus, beyond
growing the land , is also on
the processing sector . From this idea came a series of
specialities typical of our region and our mountains, which at the same time have that distinctive exclusivity of recipes, combining
tastes and flavours that are often forgotten . Our aim is to offer recipes that require long and careful processing and to make them available so you can savour unique, traditional flavours. Each of our products has a unique flavour. Prepared by carefully following every stage, with simple methods and
genuine ingredients.
This
pâté owes its name, somewhat jokingly, to its main ingredient. The
chilli pepper , which can make
your eyes sting .
Excellent as an appetiser, for example on Tuscan bread crostini. It can also be used as a tasty seasoning for pasta dishes. In meat and fish main courses or added halfway through cooking to
fried eggs .
