Claudio and his sister Claudia from the laboratory Pistocchi they decided in 2003 to present their first version of the Pie at the event Euro Chocolate: it was a real success, for a long time the Pistocchi cake it was then curiosity and passion that gave birth to variants of excellence such as Pistocchi Strawberry Cake the fruit of years of preparation.
From the first salon the adventure continued with prestigious events such as the Salone del Gusto of Turin and there are many international awards and recognitions achieved and the story continues…..always with the same determination and passion and commitment as every day. The Cakes are all handcrafted one by one, a soft and creamy chocolate, without the addition of sugar and without using eggs, butter or flour… just extra dark chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder and a little cream, no preservatives, no additives…
To realize the Pistocchi cake with strawberries he prepared a semi-candied Italian strawberry. Per la creazione della ricetta ne utilizza più del 30% distribuita nell’impasto della torta. Each cake is vacuum-packed to preserve all its characteristics and flavour. To taste the cake, remove it from its mould by cutting the edge of the tray and tearing it off when the cake is still very cold. dust it off with a very thin veil of its cocoa and… resist! Give it time to soften at room temperature for at least twenty minutes (less if it’s summer): you won’t regret it!
