Fresh Piada is located in Riccione, in Romagna, the land that gave birth to a product that is simple and excellent at the same time: the flatbread. Here in their laboratories they work to bring to the tables a dish made according to tradition, with the best ingredients, to keep all the flavors and fragrance, this is how it is born: Crescia puff pastry

Water, flour Wheat, salt, the right lard and natural sourdough, here are the ingredients of this piadina super fragrant. A simple dish but one that has its roots in tradition, a tradition that the company carries forward with pride and passion.

The company has chosen to prepare a typical product of the Marche tradition, a product that resembles piadina. It is a perfect treasure chest that can accommodate tasty fillings, just give free rein to your imagination and creativity in the kitchen.

There grow is the result of an ancient recipe. Which harks back to the poor, peasant tradition. Still today passed down from generation to generation. It is a specialty of the Marche region but is also known in Umbria. It seems that its origins can be traced back to court of the Dukes of Urbino. A focaccia very similar to piadina, slightly larger in size and quite thin.

Ingredients of top quality: selected grain flours, salt and extra virgin olive oil. Care in preparation: skilful workmanship that strictly respects tradition. It is only the wisdom and passion of those who prepare it and pass it down from generation to generation that makes the difference.  

It's the grow prepared only with genuine ingredients, handcrafted, rolled out one by one, cooked in a wood oven, to fully enjoy tradition! Like all simple things, produced with few ingredients, they are the basis of a good result together with the manual skill of those who prepare them. And then the cresce are pre-cooked one by one.

The product does not undergo any thermal stress and maintains all its fragrance which is released when the package is opened!

Thanks to the modified atmosphere packaging and strictly made without preservatives, it allows you to enjoy a real crescia perfectly preserved with all its goodness.

Try it with bresaola, rocket and parmesan flakes, salmon and avocado, grilled vegetables and Montasio or instead of bread to accompany salads and second courses

Fresco Piada

Sull'impulso dei primi chioschi di piadine aperti negli anni Sessanta sulla riviera romagnola, nasce il progetto Fresco Piada. L'idea è produrre piade di alta qualità conservando il procedimento originale, donandogli sapore e freschezza. Tutte le piadine vengono lavorate e precotte a mano sulle piastre, una per una e sono prive di conservanti. Bontà, sapori ritrovati tradizionali e gusto pieno.

In our laboratory we preserve the characteristics of craftsmanship, we select the best raw materials, very high quality products and privileges one's own territory: Romagna. The method used fully respects the tradition: the piadas are pre-cooked by hand, one by one. Then we cool them to room temperature. The product is treated naturally by us without thermal stress so as to allow it to release all its fragrance!

Our three canons for producing quality piada: Mother yeast, we use the mother yeast following a precise process that is based on an ancient technique of bakery processing. There manual cooking in respect of tradition, rigorously handmade. Made in Romagna: our piada is the fruit of its origins, made with 100% Romagna flour and carefully selected ingredients. Each piada, thanks to natural cooling after cooking, retains all its special fragrance.

The result is a product of a unique softness, lightness and digestibility. The whole Preservative free!

But we didn't stop there: In search of excellence, the journey continues. Thanks to collaborations such as with the Department of Food Sciences of the University of Bologna, we have developed a product without added yeasts and with protected iodized salt. 

There is only one please? In its journey in search of knowledge, the company has also underlined the importance of flavors by developing recipes for the rediscovery of local variations such as the Piada del Chiosco which, in terms of thickness, aroma and shape, recalls the piadine of the Ravenna area.
Variations all to be discovered such as La Ritrovata with the flavors of the past, with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, mother yeast, Piada with Bio ancient grains, the natural Piada.
