Red Onions in Oil – 180 gr. Officina di Campagna was born from the passion and collaboration of Manola and Daniela, two women from different generations who share a love for wholesome cooking and authentic flavours. Their inspiration comes from long ago, from the pantries of their mothers and grandmothers, always full of preserves, vegetables and homemade specialities prepared with care and patience. A heritage made of simple gestures, recipes handed down through generations and products prepared following the rhythm of the seasons. At the heart of our production is Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, obtained from olives grown in our area and the fruit of a passion renewed season after season. Alongside our extra virgin olive oil, we offer vegetables, olives and spreads to bring to the everyday table and rediscover the authenticity of real flavours.
A side dish with a bold character and a surprisingly balanced taste. The red onions, sliced and preserved in oil, are seasoned with black pepper and a small amount of chilli, creating a pleasant contrast between the natural sweetness of the onion and the aromatic, lively notes of the seasoning.
