Casa Pedona produces a truly unique sheep's milk cheese, but we can't call it pecorino - it has a name that reflects its truly unique characteristic, and that's how
Sugo Rosa Pomodoro bio e Scoppolato came to be
Lo Scoppolato
Bringing new life to a
different kind of sheep's cheese with a new spirit. That's how Lo Scoppolato was born, slowly becoming, with sacrifice and love, a sought-after product appreciated by food journalists, star chefs, and above all by the many enthusiasts of
good cheese. A dream that became a wonderful reality! Because, let's remember, we should never abandon our dreams when we wake up in the morning. In the process, the product undergoes an ageing process with particular humidity levels in order to obtain a properly aged product and enhance its flavour. Lo Scoppolato is a
flavour experience. Not only for those who
love cheese but also for those who want to discover an intense flavour.
Sugo Rosa Pomodoro bio e Scoppolato
The idea behind
Sugo Rosa was born from the desire to create a small
line of sauces to enjoy Scoppolato in a new way. Always following the philosophy of good, genuine products, we created a
sauce with
organic tomatoes, Scoppolato cheese and
ricotta.
The three ingredients create a unique blend here,
creamy and delicate. A sauce where simplicity is the choice, making it suitable for everyone. Children will love it too, because it's tasty and delicate at the same time. A genuine flavour that harks back to grandma's recipes, as if it were just made. All that's left to do is
boil the pasta and toss it with the sauce - can you already smell the aroma?
Pairing: Pair with fresh, fragrant, savoury white wines or those with rich, intensely fragrant bouquets with fruity, soft flavours.
Try It With: Prepare fish-filled ravioli, cook them in salted water, drain and add them to a pan with the Sugo Rosa. If you like, you can add freshly chopped basil on top of the pasta.
